OK first thing I need to say is watch the whole video first.

Yes that is a real TV and real video on the screen. Now this would be awesome for video games and certain computer programs. I agree with Johnny Lee, we need some game made with this software.

MacRumors.com is reporting that Apple has applied for a patent for 3D computer displays. Back in 1995 Apple built a similar system called Hyper Reality display. The demo is amazing enough now just imagine what it could with a little fine tuning.

UPDATE: You can see more demos of this on Johnny Lee’s Website or @ http://procrastineering.com

Gamespot has posted that a demo God of War III will be on the District 9 Blu-ray. I’ve been waiting for God of War III. I didn’t think we would see a demo until 2010.

The inclusion of the God of War III demo appears to be an astute move by Sony, since District 9 was of particular interest to gamers. Besides its cutting-edge special effects, the film drew attention because its freshman director, Neill Blomkamp, had been slated to helm the Halo film. However, following the big-screen game adaptation’s collapse in 2006, its executive producer, Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson, helped Blomkamp get financing for District 9.
