We are begin invaded!!! Nasa doesn’t know what is going to fly by the Earth on Wednesday, but I think its aliens doing a fly-by. Their just checking us out and getting ready for 2012.
Astronomers say it may be space junk or it could be a tiny asteroid, too small to cause damage even if it hit. It’s 33 to 50 feet wide at most.
OK EVGA published an image on their TwitPic account today of a new motherboard that supports 2 Intel Core i7 Processors. This is the motherboard that I have been waiting for. I just hope it doesn’t cost a thousand bucks. We will have to wait until CES to get more information about this motherboard. CES starts January 7th and runs until January 10 2010.
OK first thing I need to say is watch the whole video first.
Yes that is a real TV and real video on the screen. Now this would be awesome for video games and certain computer programs. I agree with Johnny Lee, we need some game made with this software.
MacRumors.com is reporting that Apple has applied for a patent for 3D computer displays. Back in 1995 Apple built a similar system called Hyper Reality display. The demo is amazing enough now just imagine what it could with a little fine tuning.
Is the iPhone App Store having update problems? It seems that some people including me are having issues updating there apps either through iTunes or on the iPhone. Here is the problem: The app downloads and installs on the iphone. Then the app store still shows that you have an app to update. Once you click on the App store it shows you the app you just installed. If you use iTunes the same thing happens, it just downloads and then shows you that you have an app thats need to be updated. If you check the version of the app is it still the old version. It seems that the previous version is being downloaded and installed. This is affecting both Macs and Windows version of iTunes.
MSN Money has an interesting article about “What if the Internet breaks?”. This is very unlikely but if it did how much would it affect your life? I would be affect in a big way. Now I wouldn’t go crazy or anything like that, wait a minute, yes I would because that would suck. Having to depend on television for your sole source for news would suck big time. Not having the internet to talk to your friends or not having email, we might as well go back to riding horses and buggies.
“It would be a mess,” said Dave Marcus, the director of security research for McAfee. “You would be taking businesses that were designed to do all their point-of-sale and financial transactions through the Internet and going back to pen and paper and taking checks in a car to the bank. People would lose their minds.”
On the 40th anniversary of the first transmission over the earliest version of the Internet, it’s more than an idle question to examine the network’s fragility. It’s been more than 20 years since the last systemwide overhaul, and Internet infrastructure is still based on 1970s ideas about computer networks.
Like I said earlier the Internet breaking is nearly impossible, but it could happen. There are tons of different scenarios on how it could happen. Just last year underwater cable were cut and there were internet outages across the Middle East and Asia.
